Retreat FAQ

What is the difference between the retreat themes?

Invitation to Relationship explores a few key concepts and practices for deepening our relationship with God. Discerning the Will of God focuses on deepening our awareness of God's interaction with us and cultivating willing participation with what He desires to do in and through us.

Both retreats have a similar format: group worship and teaching times, spiritual friendship groups where you can process God's interactions with you with a few other people, and extended times for you to be alone with God. We try to find retreat locations with private rooms and access to nature for your time with God.

You do not have to attend one to go to the other.

What do retreat costs cover?

The cost of the retreat covers retreat materials and room and board. You are responsible for your own travel expenses. Scholarships are available.

How long are the retreats?

Retreats are three full days, but we include travel days in the dates we post. Plan to arrive on the evening of the first day and leave the morning of the final day.

How many people usually attend?

Groups are usually small (10-12) and will never be larger than 20 people including facilitators.

What are Spiritual Life Retreats Like?

Retreats include worship with the whole group, small group times, shared meals, and extended time for you to be with God. The group times include teaching on how God engages with us and how we can grow in responding to Him with related resources provided that can be used for your personal reflection times.

We look for retreat centers in peaceful settings with access to nature and where each participant can have their own room. Occasionally bathrooms are shared.
